This is the outside of the wood fire kiln after a while of firing some pots. Pretty soon after this, they did a "reduction" (burned off the oxygen inside which cools the flames) and there were flames shooting every which way out of every hole in it. I didn't get a black and white of that, as the contrast wasn't nearly good enough when everything is charred black.

Thank you. I really have to admire the potters, though, for firing this kiln is quite a bit of work.
