I finally got my vineyard images uploaded. This means I'm completely caught up on uploading images since I went to Yellowstone National Park. These also mark the first set of images I took in all RAW and edited "heavily" in Lightroom 5, and they are also the first images I used to test out my MacBook Pro's editing ability. I was impressed with the way my MacBook handled them, especially since the images look the same between my calibrated desktop and the laptop's screen. Though, when I first finished editing them, I didn't think they fit my style and was ready to scrap them and start over. GraceWagner helped me realize, though, that I still like these, and my style will gradually change over time. So, while they're still beautiful in a simple way, they are also different, and that's okay. So, I may have found I have started to fit into a new style. We'll see how it goes.

The show in Rockwall is still happening, though I'm having to cut it short. I interviewed for a new day job in Denver, CO and will be moving out of Texas on Dec. 8 to start my job on Dec. 11. We are busy packing and prepping, though we have most of the planning finished up. The lady hosting the gallery said it was fine for me to pick up the photos a week early, so at least that worked out for the best. If you're a photographer and live in Denver, though, we should totally hang out! You can show me some cool places to take photo walks. :) I'll be off and on over the next week or so as we pack up a "POD" for Delivery to Denver, though I should be back around about the 5th-ish after they pick it up.

Finally, I've been mulling an idea over in my head, and would like some feedback. See, yesterday, I watched a live drawing session for one of my favorite web comic artists, Zach Weinersmith of Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. While I was watching I thought how interesting it was to see how many people really enjoyed seeing the creative process. So, now I'm trying to think about how interesting it would be to watch someone edit a set of photos over live stream. Honestly, I would think it would bore the heck out of most people, but then again, I thought that watching someone draw would be the same way, but I really enjoyed it. Thoughts on that, anyone?

That's it for now. As usual, thanks for all of your support, everyone! :)

I am glad to hear you are feeling happier about those new photographs now, sometimes different is good as it keeps things interesting :-)

Congratulations on the new job, I hope it goes well and you will be happy in your new home, I hate moving house so good luck with that too!

This could be interesting. I have seen videos of speed paintings which are good. I saw one of the girl from Ghost Whisperer, it was beautiful and looked just like her so it was good to see it being created and how much work went into it :-)
