I have learned the greatest thing there is to know about Denver: there are mountains within reach with great hiking trails. I love camping and hiking, and I haven't had many chances to test out my photography while doing them (I mean, there was Yellowstone, but that's really it). I'm pumped to put it to use. I've already taken my cameras out with me a couple of times, so I have some photos backed up, along with all of the bus photos, and the ice festival I went to with my sister. I shall be getting more as I get out and trek around. I'm especially excited to think about going backpacking and grabbing some shots, but that's a few months out, at least.
I have finally started uploading the bus project. I have about 16 more images to describe and add keywords, but they're all at least uploaded. I still have an ice festival and the aforementioned hikes. Then I'm caught up. I don't plan on calling this done on the bus project. I'm going to keep coming back to this. I consider it an ongoing project, much like my "Invasive Species" project and my Instagram project.
Oh, if you haven't had the chance, check out my Instagram: bawboh86. I've been taking shots of train people, though I seem to have deviated from it a bit recently, posting some pics from my hikes and goofy things I see around me. Honestly, I never expected to have so much fun with the app, but here we are.
I don't have much else to say, right now. I can't believe it took me so long to move to Denver, though. I love it here. Mountains a mile or so one way, the city the other. It's an amazing place and I'm glad I got to visit it, let alone move here. ^_^

52 Week Challenge
Hello, loyal followers.
I know I've been more than sporadic and worse than flaky here lately. I've been going through some life changes and doing some soul searching. I have been getting more and more itchy to get my camera out and about and stretch out my shutter finger a bit. A friend of mine hit me up a few days ago to do a 52 week challenge. Take photos following a prompt each week to practice different aspects and to think of my photos differently each time. I find this a great way to reinvigorate myself and gives me a direction for each photo in order to stretch.
The prompts can each be found here: http://petapixel.com/2016/12/28/shoo
Scratching
I mentioned a long while ago that I was just beginning to feel the itch to take photos again. I cleaned my sensor recently and have picked up my camera and started scratching the itch.
Feels good, man.
I have missed taking photos. Hopefully, I'll make more time for it, again. Time does have a way of slipping past when you're meaning to do something. I could not wait any longer.
Let's see where my photos take me.
The Itch
It is returning! I went to a pumpkin patch the week before Halloween and took some pics. I've been thinking about my camera since then. (Also, some new pics on the way! I know! It's been so long!) I hope everyone is doing well. I'm sorry I've not been such an active member. That unmotivated feeling seems to be lifting a little every day, and even more so on days I get my camera out.
I still have quite a few pics from my storm chasing that I haven't finished up. That's my fault. Kind of part of the whole unmotivated feeling.
Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know: I'M NOT DEAD. And my uploading should resume soon. :)
Thanks for your cont
Long Time, No Chat
Hey everyone,
Sorry I've kind of disappeared. I've had quite a bit going on with my personal relationships that required a lot of attention. I have been taking photos, only much more sporadically than usual. I shall be uploading quite a few after a storm chasing trip I went on a couple of weeks ago (I'm still picking out my favorites and editing them to my liking). I shall be uploading them soon, though, as my partner is looking forward to showing them all off and I need to finish them.
I hope everyone is doing well. I've been kind of drained on photo ideas, so I'm probably going to start my wandering again as I used to do on a regular basi

Years ago, we drove from Ohio to the West Coast. I was awestruck when we reached Denver! The blue sky, the Rocky Mountains, the forests! Nothing compares with those mountains! I am looking forward to your photos!
